  • Yesterday was power plant for me which means Lentil Nut Burgers from the freezer. Didn’t have time to get to the grocery store, so I did a stir fry with all of my left over vegetables. Definitely the rainbow with purple cabbage, red peppers, and green snow peas. And now I have a clean frig for fresh veggies!

Even with the grands here, I left them with hubby (one was still sleeping so that made it easier), and took a 2.3 mile walk.   • Chicken, roasted  Brussels sprouts (with tons of garlic), and broccoli (with tons of garlic!). Increasing veggies from the clean plate challenge made this super easy! Hope you’re having a great Detox Day!😃

  • On the go today so I have my coffee, Matcha tea, and my smoothie in an insulated cup as I drive to an appointment. How is your detox going? 😃

  • How’s Day 1  going?  My mom and my older kiddo are joining me for the detox. I thought my hubby would be here too, but he’s left for a business trip and won’t be back until the end of the month.   • I want to thank the community for all of your suggestions on how to cook collard green. Thank you Laurie Cottier for suggesting to remove the thick stems. It was a good tip. Here is my first attempt and I’m happy to say I enjoy the flavour.

  • I’ve been having fun with the Clean Plate Challenge! I made a great stir fry with seven different veggies, chicken and an Asian/ almond sauce that was very yummy.I also added lots of diced veggies to my turkey meatloaf.My energy has improved and my sleep is ever so much better!

  • Getting started on the Detox program today! This will be the second time I do this… This time, I am using the meals from the 2018 plan, but doing the TeaTox smoothies from last year

  • Lunch time. Side salad with carrots, cucumbers, and air fryer chick peas.  Add roasted carrots and parsnips to go with my leftover steak and salad. 

  • Yummy zoodles and shrimp: my hubby eats a keto diet, so this one is a favorite!
