    The way I am going to continue to use more veggies on my plate is;
    Eating more savory oatmeal with a variety of veggies.
    Adding more greens (frozen, fresh or powder) to my shakes.
    Replacing some of the protein and carbs with more vegetables.

    Yummy!Everything tastes better with bacon.Since I have both items (bacon and brussels sprouts) on hand I am gonna make it this weekend.

    That’s so true.I’ve been working on it.It makes a big difference on how your day goes if you do this.

  • One quick win that I experienced so far on the “Clean Plate Challenge” is that I am sleeping better.I fall asleep faster and don’t wake up as many times during the night.

    The mint dressing is my concoction.I used dry crushed mint leaves,rice vinegar ,evoo,salt and pepper.I think it’s more like a vinaigrette.I am German and sometimes I don’t use the right words .Sorry

  • This is my favorite plate.Chicken with lentils,green beans,sauteed onions and mushrooms.Spiralized root salad (turnip,beet,parsnip +carrot) with mint dressing.Instead of just having green beans I added mushrooms and onions.For the salad I used vegetables that I had hanging out in my fridge.To my surprise it all tasted delish.
