I’ve had to bow out again, but not by choice. I’ve been dog sick with symptoms beginning Friday and have been in bed since Saturday. And I’ve been a couple of days behind him. The good news is that we both have lost +/-10 lbs. Maybe one day I’ll get around to doing this cleanse.

Hello everybody! I had to bow out for a bit. Between our anniversary trip to Alabama, emergency trip to Maryland because we thought we were going to lose my father-in-law, eventually losing him and going out for his funeral, I had to take a step back. I have a question after listening to JJ’s podcast Saturday. She mentioned traveling with a water bottle and does not drink bottled water on a trip. Here is my problem, I cannot drink city water. I’ve joined the Clean Plate Challenge and chose the Newbie Track. Now that I have read it I am wondering if I should have gotten the advanced. I started my 2020 protocols yesterday with a Detox! I am planning to do it again later with the community it we are doing it in January. If not, then I plan to do it on my own when I get back from Alabama.

That meant it did not fit last year and I had decided that if it still did not fit this year I was going to get rid of it. It fits!

Now that I am back home I can get back to thinking about my healthy eating plan. My health coach wants me to eat an apple every day for the pectin, but I am getting ready to go on phase 2 of the Carb Intolerance plan. I would like to find something with a lower sugar impact.

Here is yesterday’s dinner. It is salmon with jerk rub cooked in avocado oil with a salad of red lettuce, carrots, and celery and my vegan ranch dressing.
I could only find So Delicious unsweetened vanilla coconut yogurt at Fred Meyer (Kroger.) When I tasted it at home without any seasoning I could only taste sour but I really tasted it after…[Read more]
